YGLABN-Chapter 5

Scourge woke up at the sound of someone rattling his cell door.
"Wake up, Scourge! Oh gosh, which key opens this?!"
That voice. Scourge's eyes snapped open. He sat up quickly and turned around. The woman that gave him so many conflicting feelings was furiously trying to open his cell.
"C'mon, where's the right key?" Fiona muttered.
He stared at her in shock and distrust. Why on Moebius was she trying to open his cell door?
Finally, she found the right key. She unlocked his door and swung it wide open.
"Hurry!" She said. "It probably won't be long until guards show up! They probably heard my gunshots!"
Scourge stared at her in cold distrust. Why would she help him? After all, she didn't love him.
"Please, Scourge!" She pleaded. "Trust me!"
Trust her? After she'd betrayed him for money? He turned around in contempt. He could never trust her again.
"Scourge, you have to trust me!" She said. "Please!"
No. There was no way he was trusting her again.
He felt someone pull roughly on his chains. He was dragged across the cold prison floor over to Fiona. Kneeling beside him, she slid a glowing blue key into his shackles, unlocking them. He felt a rush of energy spark through his body.
His powers. They were back.
"We have to go!" She said, standing up. "They'll be done any moment!"
She pulled out a Warp Ring and flicked it into the air. It enlarged, turning into a portal to who knows where.
"Come on!" She snapped.
Scourge stood up and glared at her. She'd betrayed him once. There was no way he was leaping through that portal with her. He didn't even know where they'd wind up. What if they just landed right back up in front of Alicia and the Suppression Squad again? What if this was a trap? He was NOT going through that portal.
Realizing he wasn't about to go with her, she grabbed his wrist.
"Let go!" He snapped, trying to pull away.
Fiona said nothing. Instead, she leapt through the portal, dragging Scourge through with her.
