YGLABN-Chapter 14

Fiona sat up painfully and watched Scourge lock Alicia into the shackles Fiona had been in. He took her whip from her and glared at her, his cold rage evident in his eyes. Fiona shuddered, knowing full way that a lot of pain was coming Alicia's way.
He stood in front of Alicia, his angry gaze practically burning right through her.
"How could you do that to her?!" He snarled.
Alicia looked scared. Fiona didn't blame her. She was at Scourge's mercy, and she'd really ticked him off.
"Why would you care?" Alicia asked quickly. "She betrayed you to us for money!"
Fiona flinched. Alicia had a point. Why would he care?
"I don't care!" He snapped. "I still love her!"
Fiona stared at him in shock. What did he just say? He still loved her?
Scourge set the whip down and took a step forward, gripping the knife tightly. He sliced it down the side of her face like she'd down to Fiona, except for one minor difference: he tore the knife right through her right eye.
Alicia wailed, blood oozing from the wound and her now-useless eye. She shut her other one tightly, tears of pain, trickling from it.
Scourge walked around to behind her and cut open the back of her uniform, exposing her back. With a jolt of horror, Fiona realized what he was about to do: tan her hide so hard she's have even less of her back left than Fiona.
He slowly walked back around and picked up her whip. Positioning himself behind her, he grinned evilly.
"Now for a taste of your own medicine," he said menacingly, a dark gleam in his eyes.
Just as he raised the whip, they heard footsteps. Scourge froze and dropped both the knife and the whip.
"I swear, Patch, I thought she'd be done by now…"
Scourge and Fiona looked at each other. That was Miles's voice. And he was heading straight for them.
It was obvious Alicia heard and recognized the voice too.
"MILES! PATCH! HELP!" She screamed.
The footsteps quickened. Scourge raced over to Fiona and scooped her up in his arms. She yelped as his arms touched her shredded back, sending pain searing through her body.
"Sorry," he whispered, kissing her forehead.
Suddenly, Miles and Patch burst into the room.
"What eez going on here?!" Patch shouted, him and Miles gawking at the scene.
Scourge and Fiona didn't stay to explain. Instead, Scourge raced them out the door, leaving the three behind.
